STUDY ON PADDY, VEGETABLES, WHEAT,
PULSES
AND FRUITS : 2006 A SYNDICATED STUDY ON AGROCHEMICALS |

This is the largest study ever conducted
by us in the field of agriculture, covering as many as 201
districts across the country (India).
This
study estimates the consumption of agrochemicals usage in
the cultivation of the study crops viz Paddy, Vegetables,
Wheat, Pulses and Fruits.
This
was a two-stage study whereby the quantitative stage had
a large sample size and provided the data for the estimation
of inputs used. The second stage effort had a smaller sample,
specific to each of the five study crops, to provide indepth
data on the inputs usage practices.
